Teacher & Student
A friend once told me this:
A teacher is ready when the student is.
How’s true to this? I think it is very true coz if the student is not willing to learn or adopt the teachings. No matter how good the teacher is, the student will still be unable to apply his or her teachings, isn’t it?

Oops, my friend said it should be
When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.
Pardon me… :p
Totally agree with the statement you have made about the importance of a serious student in order for a teacher to able to teach better. Though others may refute by saying that a good teacher would be able to ignite the interest in the student to have that ‘want’ and ‘need’ to study. But at the end of the day, it is the students who are going to head into the exam halls and write on those answer scripts. There’s a limit to how much a teacher can do for his or her students and whether to work hard and put in effort or not is wholly dependent on the student.
