HER Courage Awards

So… I was nominated.
And I won.

Honestly, I didn’t feel like I did much for the nomination.
Then again, maybe it’s never about one big thing — but the many small things accumulated over the years. The things we do, often quietly, that others notice and appreciate.

Someone once said,
“If it’s friends or people who know you voting, it may feel biased. But when strangers vote for you — that’s when it becomes real. Authentic.”

And that made me pause.

HER Courage.

“HER” stands for Honour, Empathy, Responsibility.
Big words. Heavy words.

Even the trophy itself feels heavy in my hands.
But I wonder… is the physical weight heavier, or the mental one that comes with it?

Since receiving this, one question keeps lingering in my mind:

What’s next?

As I observed the event — the Guest of Honour, the 100+ people gathered — I realised… I’ve done this before. I’ve been part of spaces like this.

So what does this mean now?
A bigger event? A bigger stage? A larger audience?

Or is it something else entirely?

It led me to think deeper —
about purpose, about value, about why we do what we do.

There are still many unanswered questions.

Perhaps only God holds the answers.

And as I wait, my prayer is simple:

That God keeps me safe and grounded.
Until the next step becomes clear.
Until I am called again.
Until everything, somehow, makes sense.
