Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease (HFMD)

Last friday, our God daughter, Raelyn was sick from fever. She was very cranky on those few days and cry for no reason. Finally the fever subsided on sunday night, despite we spotted some rashes that we thought it was due to drug allery. However, a visit to the pediatrician took a turn, it was not drug allery but Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease (HFMD). Before yesterday, HFMD is a disease that I hear from the tv news, now when it happened to our God daughter, you can imagine the chaos and disaster. Suddenly you realise why she had so many toys that need cleaning and disinfecting. OMG!! Well, is a time for spring cleaning brought earlier except now we have our little nephew, Keegan to take care to avoid getting the disease.

So you can imagine, immediately, we went to buy all kinds of dettol, disinfectant and etc. All mattresses covers, pillow cases were send to wash, we started googling to search for preventive measures. Suddenly, I realise the World Wide Web (www) is just a good source to search for anything under the sun. Hopefully our little sweetie pie will ride through this peacefully and by friday, she is back and bouncing again.
